Farrell Family Vacay: Arizona Recap

The summer kicked off Memorial Day weekend when we took a family vacation to Tucson, Arizona. Bryan and I always travel this weekend because our anniversary (May 28) always falls on this weekend. Our first anniversary, we went to Wine Country.  We've also hit Savannah, Puerto Rico and Key West, FL.

We were hesitant on whether or not to bring Liam, but ultimately decided it was going to be a blast as a family, so off we went. Liam was AMAZING on the airplane!

We stayed at the beautiful Westin Paloma, which I would recommend to anyone. It was a gorgeous property with multiple restaurants, nice rooms, and great pools that were good for families and kids. Plus they had a Kid's Club, where you could bring the kiddies for $12 so you could go to the adult pool or perhaps the gym, or just take a nap. It was amazing, and we wish we would have taken advantage more than we did!

We took a TON of pictures, and they are all packed in here. Enjoy!

We went to Zoo Nights, which was awesome and so much cooler and less packed than being there during the day! We got to feed giraffes, see elephants and Liam went on his first carousel ride!

We checked out the Air and Space Museum, and then hit up a local winery to celebrate our anniversary. (Which we didn't even realize it was our anniversary until about noon. We thought our anniversary was the next day!)

We went to the Desert Museum one night and walked around. More animals and lots of desert life!

Bryan and I got a day to ourselves to celebrate our anniversary properly! We utilized the Kid's Club at the hotel and had drinks by the adult pool. Then we had a friend's cousin come and hang out with Liam while we went to a FABULOUS wine tasting at a nearby resort. That night, our friends Katie and John stopped through on their way home to Yuma and it was so fun to see them and hang!

The next day we drove up to Mt. Lemming, which was a quaint little mountain town. We got lunch, ice cream and enjoyed the views!

It was one for the books and a hell of a way to celebrate five years with my hubby!
